Carbery Group is seeking a Shift Manager to lead the operator team on the cheese production shift, ensuring safety, reliability and efficiency of processes. You will manage the production plan, schedule shifts, and drive continuous improvement across shifts.
The role requires a degree in Food Science or Process Engineering and at least 3 years' experience, with strong GMP and health & safety awareness. A proactive, collaborative approach is essential for success.

This means holding reporting team members accountable to meet the specified standards. You also need a high level of adaptability and willingness to multi-task, while responding to emerging issues and challenges in all areas of the cheese manufacturing process, whether in relation to technical areas or in relation to people management. Success also requires positive, pro-active teamwork with Shift Manager colleagues to share information, initiatives and ensure collaboration across and between shifts. The goal is to ensure that the shift delivers product of maximum quality in a safe and cost-conscious manner.
