Job Title – Production Planner

About the Role: Our client based in County Meath is currently looking for a Production Planner able to develop and manage production schedules to ensure that all production deadlines are met. This is a great opportunity that will suit a person who is wanting to join an expanding global company and develop their knowledge and understanding of the manufacturing industry further.

Responsibilities
  • Co-ordinate the daily, weekly and monthly production schedules.
  • Managing the control and sequencing of work orders within production.
  • To highlight any potential bottlenecks to make sure that the correct procedures are taken in order to get a resolution.
  • Develop and monitor the inventory and keep note of shortages and highlight areas of concern.
  • Communicate effectively with the wider team
  • To provide production updates and to manage the deadlines.
  • To work as part of a team in order to minimise risk and to enhance performance.
  • Maintain deadlines in a professional manner and forecasting planning reports.
Experience Required
  • Degree certified in a relevant subject.
  • 2+ years’ Production Planning experience within the manufacturing industry.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Excellent communication skills and team player.
  • Ability to use data and management information planning.
  • Ability to work on your own and within a Team Environment.
