Job summary

Occupli is seeking a Production Operator for its Cork manufacturing site. The role supports day-to-day production activities in a highly regulated environment, ensuring accurate documentation and adherence to GMP and site procedures.

The successful candidate will work with Production, Quality and Engineering teams to maintain safe, compliant operations and contribute to continuous improvement while upholding quality, safety and environmental standards.

Qualifications

  • Experience in GMP-regulated manufacturing environments.
  • Strong documentation and data-entry accuracy.
  • Ability to identify and report quality or safety issues.
  • Fluent English and good communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Support day-to-day production activities in line with approved procedures and manufacturing requirements.
  • Monitor production processes and carry out routine in-process checks and controls.
  • Complete production records, batch documentation and associated records accurately and in real time.
  • Carry out routine quality and process checks as required.
  • Support sampling activities and liaise with Quality teams where required.
  • Identify and promptly report any process abnormalities, deviations or quality concerns.
  • Maintain high standards of GMP, hygiene and housekeeping across production areas.
  • Clean production equipment and work areas in accordance with established procedures.
  • Ensure materials are correctly identified, handled and stored.
  • Follow all site safety procedures, risk assessments and environmental requirements.
  • Use appropriate PPE and safety equipment at all times.
  • Contribute to investigations, corrective actions and continuous improvement initiatives where required.
  • Work collaboratively with Production, Quality, Engineering and other site functions to maintain safe and efficient operations.
  • Support a strong Right First Time culture through accurate execution and documentation of manufacturing activities.

Production Operator - Pharmaceutical Manufacturing

Occupli is delighted to partner exclusively with a leading pharmaceutical manufacturing organisation to recruit a Production Operator for their Cork operation.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Production Operator to join a highly regulated manufacturing environment where quality, safety, compliance and attention to detail are central to the role.

The successful candidate will work as part of an established production team, supporting day-to-day manufacturing activities while ensuring all processes and documentation are completed accurately and in accordance with site procedures.

Key Responsibilities

Requirements
  • Previous experience within a pharmaceutical, life sciences, GMP or other highly regulated manufacturing environment.
  • Good understanding of GMP principles, SOPs and controlled documentation.
  • Experience working with production records, batch documentation or similar quality-controlled systems.
  • Strong attention to detail with a high level of accuracy in documentation and data entry.
  • Ability to identify and elevate quality, safety or process issues appropriately.
  • Comfortable working as part of a production team in a regulated environment.
  • Good computer skills and experience using manufacturing or business systems; SAP experience would be advantageous.
  • Strong commitment to health, safety, quality and environmental standards.
  • Good communication skills and fluent English.
Education & Experience

A relevant qualification in pharmaceutical manufacturing, science, engineering or a related discipline would be advantageous.

Relevant experience within a pharmaceutical or GMP-regulated manufacturing environment will also be considered.
