Job summary

Collins McNicholas Group is seeking a Production Operative II for the Evening Shift (Mon–Thu) in Galway. The role involves assembling medical devices on a rotating line, conducting on-line checks, and supporting change-overs with a focus on quality and safety. A shift allowance applies to the hourly rate.

The candidate will perform various assembly tasks, visually inspect products, and work as part of a team to meet line rates. Overtime may be required to support production goals.

Production Operative II - Evening Shift - Monday - Thursday

€14.86 per hour plus 20% shift allowence

The successful candidate will utilize their technical skills in the generation and development of medical device products and process technologies.

Main Duties/Responsibilities:

• Assembles medical products on an assembly operation, performing a variety of tasks on a rotating basis.
• Ability to rotate through the assembly line. Performs on-line and in-process visual inspection of products to ensure specifications per work order and procedure are followed.
• Assists Team Leader and Technicians with product and/or machine change-overs. Ensures product assembled meets quality standards.
• Rejects product outside of specifications.
• Adheres to safety standards.
• May operate a variety of testing equipment required for periodic product and process testing.
• Working overtime may be required for this position. Performs other related tasks, as required.

Qualifications/Experience:

• Demonstrates competencies and ability to rotate in a specific assembly line or work cell.
• Ability to perform a variety of assembly tasks requiring dexterity and fine motor skills.
• Ability to visually check work performed and identify whether a product has been assembled correctly. Ability to follow instructions in performing repetitive tasks.
• Attentiveness in performing tasks. Ability to work as a member of a team in assembling sterile medical products. Ability to meet line rate expectations
