Job description

Our client is currently seeking an experienced Production Manager to lead film production operations and oversee the introduction of new technology within a regulated manufacturing environment. The role requires strong leadership, technical competence, and adherence to FDA and cGMP standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage film production processes and new technology implementation.
• Conduct and monitor standard work practices across teams.
• Drive continuous improvement and workplace innovation.
• Oversee production metrics including yield, downtime, quality, and resource utilization.
• Foster a culture of decision-making, teamwork, and accountability.
• Ensure compliance with all quality, safety, and regulatory requirements (FDA, cGMP).
• Manage performance reviews, training, and development for team members.
• Oversee attendance, timekeeping, and communication across departments.
• Maintain high Environmental Health & Safety standards.
• Achieve production and budgetary targets.

Requirements:

• 3rd-level qualification, preferably in a technical discipline.
• Proven supervisory experience in a regulated manufacturing environment (FDA/cGMP essential; unionized environment preferred).
• Strong leadership, communication, and team development skills.
