The P&C Operations team is a newly established function within Primark P&C and provides an elevated and truly global colleague experience that is powered by a partnership with Primark P&C Technology team.

The mandate of Product Owner is to enable the delivery of the product strategy and vision. They set the direction for the product and delivery teams, by setting the vision and ensuring the work is prioritised to deliver value to customers and the business.

Reports to: Product Manager - P&C Operations
Primary customer: Director of Reward, Wellbeing & Benefits
Functional areas of ownership: Reward, Benefits, Recognition

What You'll Do:
In your role, you'll collaborate with different people across a range of skillsets. Here's a flavour of your day-to-day:
  • Define, develop, and oversee the delivery of the Compensation, Benefits & Recognition Product Strategy and Roadmap to build a scalable, global Product foundation in Workday and related technologies.
  • Recognized as the Product expert, leading on small and large scales changes via projects or a prioritized backlog of smaller changes.
  • Building relationships with the Reward & Benefits team & creating alignment between product & business strategy.
  • Understand the business and translate into quarterly business outcome OKRs in collaboration with stakeholders.
  • Maximizing product value through simplification, standardization automation and increased adoption, driven by business change (including release strategy).
  • Managing live products to ensure value is being delivered to end users. Ensuring BAU operations are achieved, and system availability is maintained.
  • Understanding user needs, how the business works and driving the development of the product through clear prioritisation. Envisaging and understand the final product and convey the value it creates and what problems it solves.
  • Working with the BA and development team to define what good accountability handoffs look like (Definition of Ready & Definition of Done).

What You'll Bring:

  • 3+ years experience in HR / HR Technology.
  • A background in Workday HCM, Compensation and Benefits design or equivalent platform.
  • Industry or functional expertise in Retail.
  • An appropriate degree, equivalent qualification or experience.
  • Fluent in agile scrum methodologies & supporting tools such as Jira.
  • Fluent in design thinking, building out personas, journey maps, opportunity mapping, assumption testing, and identifying opportunities to drive tangible value for the end user.
  • Strong core prioritization, management, and consulting skills (demonstrated track record of quality delivery, resource management, interpersonal and cross-functional relationship skills).
