• Backlog ownership: Create, refine, and maintain a prioritized backlog for platform capabilities with clear epics, features, user stories, acceptance criteria, and dependencies.
• Roadmap execution: Translate roadmap direction into actionable delivery plans, balancing business value, customer impact, and technical feasibility.
• Requirements definition: Clarify problems with customers and stakeholders, document outcomes, and validate delivered capabilities meet needs.
• Agile delivery partnership: Support sprint planning, backlog grooming, dependency management, demos, and release readiness.
• Prioritization: Make data-informed trade-offs based on customer value, alignment, risk, and regulatory needs.
• Stakeholder communication: Communicate plans and progress clearly to leadership, R&D, Support, Sales, and Marketing.
• Customer and field input: Capture and synthesize customer feedback for planning and backlog decisions.
• Release enablement: Support release planning, enablement, documentation readiness, and launch activities.
• Quality and adoption focus: Monitor adoption, feedback, defects, and support trends to improve capabilities.

As a Product Owner for the Amplify Platform at Axway, you will help translate product strategy into clear, prioritized execution for one or more platform capabilities. Working closely with Product Line leadership, Product Managers, Product Owners, R&D, UX, Support, Sales, and customer-facing teams, you will ensure development teams have a well-understood backlog that reflects customer needs, business priorities, and the overall platform vision.

• You will own day-to-day backlog definition and refinement for assigned product areas, ensuring work is precise, valuable, feasible, and aligned with roadmap priorities.

• We are looking for a pragmatic, detail-oriented business technologist with a strong affinity for API management, integration, platform services, SaaS, and enterprise customer problems.

• The ideal candidate champions whole-solution thinking, balancing functional requirements with scalability, reliability, security, usability, operability, and commercial considerations.

• You will represent the voice of customers and internal stakeholders in delivery discussions, helping convert market needs, roadmap themes, and technical constraints into actionable user stories and measurable outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Backlog Ownership: Create, refine, and maintain a prioritized backlog for assigned platform capabilities, ensuring that epics, features, user stories, acceptance criteria, and dependencies are clear and ready for execution.

• Roadmap Execution: Translate roadmap direction from Product Line leadership and Product Management into actionable delivery plans, balancing business value, customer impact, technical feasibility, and delivery capacity.

• Requirements Definition: Work with customers, stakeholders, UX, architects, and engineering teams to clarify problems, define outcomes, document requirements, and validate that delivered capabilities solve real customer needs.

• Agile Delivery Partnership: Partner with Scrum Masters, Engineering Managers, architects, and development teams to support sprint planning, backlog grooming, dependency management, demos, and release readiness.

• Prioritization: Make data-informed prioritization recommendations and trade-offs based on customer value, strategic alignment, risk reduction, technical debt, regulatory or security needs, and commercial opportunity.

• Stakeholder Communication: Communicate plans, progress, risks, and decisions clearly to Product Line leadership, R&D, Support, Sales, Customer Success, Marketing, and other internal stakeholders.

• Customer and Field Input: Capture, structure, and synthesize customer, field, support, and competitive input so that recurring needs and pain points are visible in planning and backlog decisions.

• Release Enablement: Support release planning, internal enablement, documentation readiness, launch preparation, and handover activities for new or enhanced platform capabilities.

• Quality and Adoption Focus: Monitor adoption, feedback, defects, support trends, and operational signals to identify improvement opportunities and help ensure capabilities are robust, usable, and valuable.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, Management Information Systems, or a related field; equivalent practical experience will also be considered.

• 5+ years of experience as a Product Owner, Product Manager, Business Analyst, Solution Consultant, or similar role in enterprise software.

• Experience working in a SaaS, platform, API management, integration middleware, iPaaS, or comparable enterprise technology environment.

• Strong understanding of Agile delivery practices, including backlog refinement, user-story writing, acceptance criteria, sprint planning, and release coordination.

• Ability to turn complex customer, business, and technical needs into clear requirements that development teams can understand and execute.

• Comfortable working with ambiguity, competing priorities, and distributed teams across multiple time zones.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.

• Experience with product management and development tools such as Jira, Aha!, Confluence, Azure DevOps, or similar platforms.

• Approximately 10% travel may be required, including international travel.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Hands-on experience with API management, application integration, developer experience, platform services, cloud-native delivery, or enterprise integration products.

• Familiarity with non-functional requirements such as scalability, resiliency, observability, security, compliance, usability, and operational supportability.

• Experience contributing to product launches, internal enablement, customer advisory sessions, UX research, or field-feedback programs.

• Prior exposure to AI-enabled product capabilities or data-driven product decision-making is a plus.
