Job summary

Weve Security Limited is seeking a product designer to help build experiences for investigators across tables, timelines and evidence views. You will work with product, engineering and security research to shape screens that connect activities, identities and context.

You will prototype with realistic records, test whether observations are clear, and contribute to a scalable design system while collaborating with engineers in a remote-friendly, fast-moving team.

Job description

Weve is building workplace security for a world where people and AI agents work across dozens of systems. We connect activity, identity and business context so security teams can investigate risks that no single tool can explain on its own.

A useful investigation might connect a person, several accounts, an AI session, a file, a work ticket and findings from other security tools. Putting all of that on a screen is easy. Helping someone see what happened, what is unusual and what they can trust is the design problem.

You’ll work with product, engineering and security research to design those experiences. Expect dense tables, timelines, evidence, uncertainty and repeat use by expert users. You’ll help decide what information belongs on the screen before polishing how it looks.

What you’ll own

• Talk to security practitioners and observe how they investigate, review findings and explain decisions to colleagues.
• Design coherent experiences for people and agent profiles, activity sessions, findings and investigation cases, including the connections between them.
• Make evidence and uncertainty legible. A user should be able to distinguish an observation, an inference and a missing piece of context.
• Prototype with realistic records, long names, incomplete data and busy states. Test whether people can answer the important question without narration.
• Build reusable patterns for tables, filters, timelines, charts and detail views, with accessibility and keyboard use considered from the start.
• Work through implementation with engineers, review the finished interaction and revise it based on what customers actually do.

What you’ll bring

• A portfolio of shipped product work that shows how you resolved complex information and interaction problems, not only the final screens.
• Experience designing data-heavy software for people who use it as part of their work.
• Strong interaction, typography and visual hierarchy skills. You can make a compact interface feel clear rather than crowded.
• Confidence conducting research, questioning a brief and explaining a design decision with evidence.
• Experience collaborating closely with engineers and maintaining a design system as the product changes.

Useful, but not required

Security, developer tools or observability products; prototyping in code; and experience designing AI-assisted decisions where confidence and provenance matter.

What good looks like

• Users can explain what a finding means and inspect its evidence without a guided tour.
• Common investigation tasks take fewer steps without hiding important context.
• New screens use a consistent vocabulary and interaction model instead of introducing another bespoke layout.

You’ll work directly with the people building and selling Weve. We expect you to question the brief, make decisions within your area and follow through after something ships. Customer evidence matters more than how convincing an idea sounds in a meeting.
