Job summary

InnaLabs Ltd in Dublin is seeking a Product Assurance Engineer to ensure space-grade electronic equipment meets customer, regulatory, and industry requirements throughout the lifecycle.

You will define and implement product assurance activities, working with engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, and customers to ensure compliance with space industry standards from design through delivery.

Qualifications

  • Degree in Engineering, Physics, or a related technical discipline, or equivalent experience.
  • 3+ years’ experience in a Product Assurance, Quality, or Reliability role, ideally within space/aerospace/high-reliability electronics.
  • Strong knowledge of space/aerospace standards (ECSS, ESA requirements, ISO 9001/AS9100).
  • Understanding of electronics manufacturing, PCB assembly, testing and inspection processes.
  • Experience with non-conformance management, risk assessment, and problem-solving methodologies.
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and test requirements.
  • Excellent English communication and ability to collaborate across multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

  • Define and implement product assurance plans aligned with customer and space industry standards.
  • Support design reviews to ensure quality, reliability, safety, and dependability requirements.
  • Oversee manufacturing and assembly processes to ensure compliance with procedures and workmanship standards.
  • Manage non-conformances, including root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions.
  • Review and approve documentation, procedures, inspection plans, test reports, and certificates of conformity.
  • Support supplier quality assurance including audits, assessments, and performance monitoring.
  • Participate in internal and external audits.
  • Perform hardware inspections and complete quality inspection reports.
  • Ensure configuration control and traceability of materials, components, and processes.
  • Liaise with customers and external stakeholders on product assurance matters.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across quality and assurance processes.

We are seeking a skilled and proactive Product Assurance Engineer to ensure our products meet stringent customer, regulatory, and industry requirements throughout their entire lifecycle.

Role Overview

As a Product Assurance Engineer, you will be responsible for defining, implementing, and maintaining product assurance activities for space-grade electronic equipment. You will work closely with engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, and customers to ensure compliance with space industry

standards and customer requirements, from design through delivery.
