Job summary

Archer Recruitment Pte Ltd is seeking an experienced procurement professional to lead sourcing for a €30M national fibre programme. You will assess needs, research supplier markets and develop tender scopes in collaboration with Project, Engineering and Commercial teams to optimize commercial value.

You’ll manage bids, evaluate pricing and contract terms, negotiate agreements and recommend suppliers for approval and award, building a track record of solving procurement challenges.

Qualifications

• Strong experience in a procurement-focused role.
• Proven experience managing tenders through evaluation and award.
• Confidence developing sourcing approaches and negotiating terms.
• Experience working through commercial challenges with stakeholders.
• Infrastructure, construction, utilities or telecoms experience beneficial.

Not every procurement challenge has an obvious answer. You’ll need to understand the need, explore the supplier market and work out the sourcing approach that makes the most commercial sense.

You’ll bring that expertise to a €30M national fibre programme connecting Dublin, Galway, Limerick, Cork, Wexford and New Ross. Your portfolio will span third-party duct access, civils, fibre deployment and specialist services, each bringing different sourcing considerations.

Working with Project, Engineering and Commercial teams, you’ll shape sourcing strategies, assess supplier options, challenge proposals and negotiate agreements. You’ll weigh up competing approaches and recommend solutions that balance project needs with commercial value.

You’ll have the scope to think independently, tackle varied commercial challenges and put your judgement into practice — building a track record of solving procurement problems on a major national infrastructure programme.
