Job summary

AWS Infrastructure Services is seeking a Procurement Operations Specialist to support procurement for the Europe, Middle East and Africa data center construction space. You will work with category managers on supplier qualifications, requests for proposals, vendor performance dashboards and contract generation.

You will drive process improvements, maintain supplier data, and help implement automation and reporting to reduce cycle times and costs while upholding policy and governance across

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or above in Business, Procurement, Logistics, Accounting, Supply Chain Management, Supply Chain Analysis, Construction, or other related fields.
• Experience working with technical and non-technical business owners/partners to overcome obstacles and deliver results.
• Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements.

Responsibilities

• Independently and cross-functionally deliver on projects/goals.
• Lead process improvement projects for procurement operations. Project manage implementation and engage stakeholders.
• Manage assigned supplier onboarding and qualification processes.
• Manage assigned tender events, and related follow-on contract generation supporting the category manager.
• Identify dashboard requirements for metrics reporting and identify opportunities for process improvement and develop training documentation.
• Support Procurement Category Managers managing category business processes such as business reviews, supplier performance measurement or ad hoc projects as needed.
