Monread Fare in Naas, Co. Kildare is seeking a Procurement Analyst to support purchasing decisions, supplier management and cost control across multiple locations and franchises.

This full-time role offers the chance to influence procurement strategy and supplier performance across a growing organisation. Key responsibilities include analysing requirements, researching suppliers, evaluating quotations, and assisting negotiations.

Qualifications

• Third-level qualification in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Business, Finance, Business Analytics, Economics, or a related discipline.
• Strong analytical and numerical skills with the ability to interpret complex data.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Strong communication and relationship management abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Commercial awareness and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Responsibilities

• Analyse purchasing requirements across multiple franchise brands and locations, taking account of operational demand, sales trends, product usage, budgets, and franchise requirements.
• Research suppliers, products, pricing, and market developments, identifying alternative sourcing opportunities where appropriate.
• Obtain and evaluate supplier quotations, comparing pricing, specifications, quality, availability, and commercial terms.
• Support supplier negotiations through detailed purchasing, cost, volume, and performance analysis.
• Work closely with management teams across food court complexes and individual locations to assess purchasing requirements and resolve supply-related issues.
• Identify opportunities for consolidated purchasing, improved supplier arrangements, and economies of scale across the wider business.
• Monitor supplier performance and investigate shortages, substitutions, quality concerns, pricing discrepancies, and delivery issues.
• Analyse sales, purchasing, inventory, product usage, and waste data to identify trends and cost-saving opportunities.
• Review procurement and supply processes and recommend improvements to efficiency, controls, and supplier performance.
• Support procurement planning for seasonal trading periods, promotional activity, new product launches, equipment purchases, and operational changes.
• Prepare procurement reports and recommendations for management covering expenditure, supplier performance, purchasing opportunities, supply risks, and cost reduction initiatives.
