Qualifications

• Advanced degree (MS or PhD) in Chemical Engineering, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Biotechnology, Process Engineering, Automation, Data Science or related field.
• Typically 15+ years of experience in pharmaceutical/biopharmaceutical manufacturing, MSAT or related leadership roles.
• Proven ability to develop and implement technology strategies and large transformation programs.

Responsibilities

• Define and drive the global process technology and innovation strategy for the assigned modality.
• Lead the innovation portfolio across process technologies, automation, digital solutions and AI applications.
• Oversee identification, industrialization and scaling of transformative technologies from PoC to GMP deployment.
• Govern modality technology blueprint and deployment strategies across the global network.
• Improve manufacturing robustness, productivity, cost efficiency and supply reliability.
• Chair governance boards and drive portfolio prioritization and investments.
• Build cross-functional innovation networks with key functions and external partners.
