Job summary

Abbott in Ireland is seeking a Process Operator for the continental shift at the Cootehill site. The role covers milk/oil intake, ingredient preparation, processing, evaporation and drying, ensuring products meet Abbott quality standards.

The successful candidate will operate across multiple process steps, perform CIP and equipment checks, and maintain cGMP and hygiene compliance while working a 12-hour continental shift in a busy manufacturing facility.

Qualifications

• Leaving Certificate (or equivalent).
• Experience in a Process Team would be advantageous.
• Ability to interpret technical data (charts, graphs, flow rates, temperature readings).
• Good problem‑solving and troubleshooting ability.

Responsibilities

• Safely and effectively operate all process equipment from intake to drying.
• Produce product in full compliance with Abbott specifications and customer requirements.
• Follow Abbott policies, cGMP, hygiene standards and documentation procedures.
• Maintain attention to detail across all operations.
