Job description

College Group was founded in 1989 and currently operates from three state-of-the-art sites; Nobber in County Meath, Monnery in County Cavan, and in Newry in County Down. We have just built a new state of the art AD plant in Nobber with the most advanced technology, which is one of Irelands largest Anaerobic Digestion plants.

Anaerobic digestion (AD) is the microbial breakdown of organic material in the absence of oxygen to produce renewable energy in the form of biogas and organic fertiliser.

We are currently seeking to recruit enthusiastic Process Operators to join the AD Team based in Nobber; with production due to commence in the coming weeks. These positions will be an integral part of our operation and will work to maximize efficiency and support delivery of key performance indicators. The roles will operate on a 8 hour shift pattern initially.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitoring and operating a computerised manufacturing process maintaining a high level of productivity,
  • Monitoring feedstock intake and completion of paperwork,
  • Warehouse duties including operation of machinery where required,
  • Facilitating loading and dispatch from site,
  • Performing product quality checks and tests,
  • General asset care of equipment used on site,
  • General hygiene and housekeeping duties,
  • Comply with all Quality Environmental Health and Safety requirements / training and regulations.
