Job summary

A dynamic recruitment agency in Ireland is seeking an experienced Process Engineer to join their Carlow site. In this hybrid role, you will support New Product Introduction (NPI) and drive improvements in manufacturing operations. Ideal candidates have a bachelor’s degree and at least 3 years of GMP experience. This position focuses on process development, compliance, and effective teamwork, with opportunities to impact various technical projects.

Job description

We’re looking for an energetic Process Engineer to join our Carlow site and support New Product Introduction (NPI) and commercial manufacturing. You’ll work on cross-functional projects, lead technical initiatives, and support continuous improvement across diverse manufacturing operations.

What You’ll Do:

  • Lead or support process development, equipment validation, and change control activities.

  • Contribute to Kaizen/continuous improvement initiatives using Lean Six Sigma.

  • Perform root cause analysis of system or process issues.

  • Represent technical operations in internal and global forums.

  • Ensure compliance with cGMP, regulatory standards, and internal policies.

  • Collaborate with teams to drive a safe, compliant, and innovative culture.

What You Bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree (Science, Engineering, or Technical discipline preferred).

  • Minimum 3 years’ manufacturing experience, ideally in GMP.

  • Proven ability to lead technical projects.

  • Knowledge of automation systems (DeltaV), process monitoring, and data systems (Pi System) is a plus.

  • Strong skills in documentation, validation, and regulatory compliance.

  • Excellent communication, presentation, and teamwork skills.

  • Hybrid role with occasional shift support post-training.
