Job summary

QCS Staffing is seeking a Process Engineer for an Ireland-based 6–9 month life sciences contract. The role focuses on design, commissioning, and qualification for a new manufacturing facility startup, with emphasis on equipment design reviews and compliance remediation.

The ideal candidate will lead cross-functional teams, apply deep process engineering knowledge to unit processes and utilities, and work within a life sciences project environment in Ireland.

Qualifications

• Extensive post-academic process engineering experience in biopharmaceutical processing design, construction and start-up.
• Proven ability to lead and influence teams.
• Deep understanding of unit process and utility operations in biopharma.
• Knowledge of DCS/PLC process control platforms and SDLC methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Provide process engineering services for design, commissioning and qualification for startup of a new manufacturing facility.
• Manage equipment design reviews and identify gaps, developing technical solutions for compliance.
• Support project execution to close compliance gaps and remediation of process equipment.
• Keep all project stakeholders informed and consulted on key process activities and decisions.

What You’ll Deliver

• Provide process engineering services for the design and commissioning & qualification activities associated with the startup of a new manufacturing facility.
• Manage equipment design reviews, Identify critical gaps, and develop technical solutions to achieve compliance
• Support the execution of projects to close compliance gaps and to address significant remediation issues with process equipment
• Ensure all project stakeholders are informed and consulted on key process activities and decisions.

What you’ll need:

• Extensive post-academic process engineering experience in relevant biopharmaceutical processing design, construction & start-up environment.
• Demonstrated ability to lead / influence teams
• In depth understanding of process engineering and technologies pertinent to unit process and utility operations
