Overview

We are looking for a detail-oriented and collaborative Process & Business Analyst to join our team during a transformative delivery phase and contribute to defining, analysing, and implementing critical business processes.

Sitting within a delivery team led by the Operations Manager, this role ensures both operational readiness and business value alignment, supporting long-term service sustainability and performance.

The successful candidate will work closely with cross-functional stakeholders to elicit requirements, analyse business needs, and design optimized, service-ready processes.

Following project Go-Live, the Analyst will transition into an embedded BAU role within the Service Delivery team, contributing to continuous improvement initiatives, operational reporting, and process governance, including incident, problem, and service request management.

This is a great opportunity for someone passionate about process and business analysis who wants to build a career in service management or operational leadership.

Key Responsibilities

Project Phase – Design, Analysis & Delivery

  • Collaborate with stakeholders, SMEs, and the Service Delivery Manager to gather and validate business and functional requirements.
  • Analyse current-state ("as-is") processes and define future-state ("to-be") workflows and procedures.
  • Lead or support workshops and interviews to extract business needs, use cases, and system/process dependencies.
  • Translate business requirements into clear process models, business rules, and documentation.
  • Support the development of Low-Level Designs (LLDs), ensuring traceability to business objectives and service requirements.
  • Contribute to Operational Readiness Testing (ORT), handover planning, and creation of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Ensure documentation such as process maps, RACI matrices, business requirements documents (BRDs), and user guides are clear, complete, and accessible.

Go-Live Support

  • Assist in readiness activities such as knowledge transfer and Early Life Support (ELS) planning.
  • Monitor live processes and workflows, capturing issues, pain points, and real-time improvement opportunities.
  • Support issue triage, resolution coordination, and ongoing clarification for users during rollout.

Post Go-Live – Service Integration & Continuous Improvement

  • Act as a business and process expert within the Service Delivery function.
  • Take responsibility for ongoing incident, problem, and service request process management, ensuring alignment with ITIL best practices and operational efficiency.
  • Maintain and improve process documentation and knowledge bases.
  • Work with stakeholders to track performance against KPIs and capture feedback for iterative improvement.
  • Identify opportunities for automation, simplification, and performance enhancement.
  • Contribute to service reviews, process audits, and root cause analyses.

Person Specification

  • 2–3 years' experience in process design, business analysis, or related operational/functional roles.
  • Strong understanding of business analysis techniques, process mapping, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Experience working in project environments involving operations, service delivery, IT, or logistics.
  • Ability to analyse and translate business needs into scalable, efficient process and service designs.
  • Skilled at facilitating workshops, conducting interviews, and presenting findings clearly.
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills; able to deliver structured, user-focused artefacts.
  • Analytical mindset with a focus on problem-solving, continuous improvement, and business impact.
  • Familiarity with process modelling tools (e.g. IBM Blueworks Live, Visio, Lucidchart).
  • Awareness of ITIL, Lean, or Six Sigma principles (certifications desirable but not essential).

With the support of the Service Delivery Manager, you’ll expand your business analysis and service ownership skills, helping shape a high-performing, customer-centric BAU function.
