Downey Osborne in Ireland is seeking a Tax Senior Manager (Private Client) to lead a varied mix of compliance, advisory and business development work for private clients across Ireland and internationally. The role offers hybrid working and clear career progression.

The ideal candidate will hold IATI/CTA and/or ACA/ACCA, have 3-4 years in a management tax role, and proven experience managing private client portfolios with a strong commercial focus, plus mentoring and stakeholder skills.

Qualifications

• IATI/ CTA and/or ACA/ACCA qualified
• At least 3-4 years' experience in a management role in a tax practice or industry
• Proven experience managing a private client portfolio with a strong commercial focus
• Strong technical skills in private client tax advisory
• Excellent communication, relationship management, and mentoring skills

Responsibilities

• Managing varied advisory projects for a diverse portfolio of private clients
• Building and maintaining high-quality client relationships
• Mentoring junior staff and contributing to talent development
• Collaborating with colleagues across borders and teams
• Driving business development initiatives within the private client team
• Working on cross-border tax matters and complex advisory projects
• Supporting clients with compliance related queries
