Three Ireland seeks a Legal Counsel – Privacy & AI in Dublin to drive privacy and responsible AI across the business. You will advise on GDPR, ePrivacy and AI governance, draft DPAs, and lead DPIAs in collaboration with cross-functional teams.

A hybrid work model and competitive compensation are offered. The role interfaces with senior leadership and regulators, enabling strategic privacy initiatives in a fast-paced telecom environment.

Qualifications

• Excellent knowledge of Irish and EU data protection law including GDPR and ePrivacy Regulations.
• Strong understanding of emerging digital regulation and AI governance frameworks.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
• Proven project management skills.
• Experience collaborating in multidisciplinary teams.

Responsabilités

• Monitor, interpret, and advise on EU AI Act, Data Act, NIS2, and CER.
• Draft, negotiate, and maintain DPAs with suppliers, customers and group entities.
• Embed privacy-by-design and responsible AI principles into new products and services.
• Coordinate responses to data protection incidents and regulatory filings.
• Interact with DPC and EU authorities on complaints and inquiries.
• Maintain records of processing activities and produce privacy KPIs for leadership.
