AtkinsRéalis in Dublin is seeking a Principal Structural Engineer to lead a multidisciplinary design team on a wide range of building projects. Based in our Dublin office, you will assume responsibility for design input, delivery oversight, reports, and client communications.

The role requires chartered status, strong leadership, and expertise across commercial, residential, healthcare, and education sectors.

Qualifications

• Chartered Engineer with Engineers Ireland or IStructE.
• Experience in delivery of Structural Engineering Design.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite.
• Knowledge of structural design software such as Robot and Tekla Structural Designer is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Act as Lead Structural Engineer as part of multidiscipline design teams.
• Provide design input and oversight of all structural aspects of projects.
• Prepare project reports (Planning, Tender, Construction Stage) and communicate complex technical matters clearly.
• Prepare fee proposals and quality submissions for design contracts with clients.
• Communicate with internal and external parties via email and oversee drawing preparation.
• Prepare design calculations for internal and external review and undertake Ancillary Certifier duties.
• Manage design budgets and financial aspects of projects.

The successful candidate will work in a structural team within a multidiscipline office and shall work on varied projects.
