AtkinsRéalis in Dublin is seeking a Principal Fire Safety Engineer to lead fire safety strategies across multiple sectors. The role focuses on design, risk assessment, and site inspections, while mentoring junior engineers and coordinating with design teams.

The ideal candidate will have postgrad experience in consultancy, a BE (Hons) in Fire Safety Engineering, and preferably an MSc. A driving licence and hybrid working environment support a balanced, client‑facing role.

Qualifications

• MSc in Fire Safety Engineering are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop fire safety strategies from inception to completion on a variety of projects.

Candidate will be required to assist in Fire Safety Engineering design and monitoring of building and site development projects. The role will involve working on exciting projects across various sectors including Transport, Leisure, Educational, Commercial, Healthcare, Industrial, Storage and Residential for both public and private clients.Preference will be given to those whose qualification is suitable to attain the title of Chartered Engineer with Engineers Ireland.
