Job summary
Johnson & Johnson is seeking a Principal Project Delivery Engineer for the Cork, Ireland site. You will lead the MAM organisation’s engineering project delivery efforts, delivering technology solutions that enhance early manufacturing steps and patient outcomes.
You will guide a team of engineering professionals, drive safety, schedule, budget, and stakeholder collaboration while mentoring talent to advance our capabilities in innovative medicine.

- Engineering degree and 10+ years in project delivery.
- Strong leadership of diverse teams.
- Experience focusing on safety in projects.
Responsibilities
- Provide leadership and direction for engineering resources and activities in the Cork Little Island site.
- Ensure execution of projects and delivery of technical requirements for value optimisation and product launches.
- Lead and participate in teams to deliver quality projects with zero injuries, on time and within budget.
- Partner with end users to identify and define innovative solutions to problems and opportunities.
- Ensure Commissioning and Qualification processes are properly completed and documented for all projects.
- Communicate regular project updates to governance bodies and partners.
- Develop talent through coaching and mentoring.

This position provides leadership and direction for Engineering Project Delivery resources and activities in the Small Molecule API site in Cork, Ireland. Reporting to the SM API Group Engineering lead, this role has a large degree of scope and autonomy to deliver technology solutions to improve human health by improving the first manufacturing step in changing patients’ lives for the better.
This is an exciting role with a large degree of scope and autonomy to lead a team of engineering professionals to deliver projects in support of business goals.
- Provide leadership and direction for engineering resources and activities in the Cork Little Island site
- Ensure execution of projects and delivery of technical requirements for the value optimisation of supply chain capabilities as well as launch of new products
- Lead & participate actively in teams to deliver quality projects with Zero injuries, within budget & to schedule while meeting business needs
- Partner with end users in the identification and definition of innovative solutions to problems and opportunities
- Ensure that the Commissioning and Qualification process is properly completed and documented for all projects
- Communicate regular project updates in accordance with governance and partner needs
- Develop talent through coaching and mentoring
- Engineering Degree
The successful candidate will have experience, skills and track record of achievement in the following, minimum of 10 years work experience
