Job summary
UPMC Ireland is seeking a Principal Medical Physicist for Bon Secours Radiotherapy in Cork. You will lead radiation oncology physics, calibrate and commission equipment, uphold QA, and advise on treatment planning with a focus on safety and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications
- PhD or MSc in Medical Physics or related field.
- Experience with 3D conformal radiotherapy, brachytherapy and planning systems.
- Radiation safety knowledge and regulatory compliance.
- Licensure as Medical Physics Expert (MPE) or equivalent recognized.
Responsibilities
- Oversee calibration, commissioning and QA of radiation therapy equipment.
- Support and supervise treatment planning, dose calculations and data storage.
- Provide Medical Physics Expert review of treatment plans.
- Coordinate daily Medical Physics team activities and scheduling.
- Ensure EPA/HIQA compliance and radiation safety practices.
