Job summary

Regeneron Pharmaceuticals, Inc is seeking a Principal Facilities Engineer to join our Facilities Operations, Utilities & HVAC team in Raheen, Limerick. You will design and specify cGMP clean and grey utilities, HVAC equipment, piping, ducting and controls while managing projects.

You will troubleshoot complex plant equipment issues, assist in design reviews, site acceptance, QA validation, change control and investigations, and ensure compliance with applicable laws and company policies.

Qualifications

• BS/BA in Mechanical Engineering with 8+ years of relevant experience or equivalent.
• Design, specify and oversee cGMP clean/grey utilities and HVAC equipment, piping and controls.
• Manage small-to-mid sized projects related to utilities and HVAC equipment/services.
• Troubleshoot complex plant equipment issues and identify corrective actions.
• Assist in design reviews, site acceptance and installation of equipment.
• Support QA Validation with design documents and protocol execution.
• Investigate utility systems and control system anomalies; implement CAPAs.
• Prepare engineering evaluations and test plans; execute change control documentation.
• Interpret P&IDs, layouts and wiring diagrams; ensure compliance.
• Maintain reputation by enforcing applicable laws, policies and regulations.

What you’ll do:

• Designing and specifying cGMP clean/grey utilities, & HVAC equipment, piping, ducting and/or controls
• Managing small-to-mid sized projects related to utilities & HVAC equipment & services
• Conducting troubleshooting for complex issues with plant equipment issues and associated systems, identifying and recommending corrective actions
• Assisting in the design review, site acceptance and installation of equipment
• Supporting the QA Validation department by preparation of design documents and assists in protocol execution
• Assisting in investigations of utility systems, and control system anomalies as well as safety incidents
• Implementing corrective/preventative actions for existing equipment and maintenance processes
• Preparing engineering evaluations and test plans for and executes modification change control documentation
• Interpreting P&IDs, equipment/system layouts, wiring diagrams and specifications in planning and performing maintenance and repairs
• Maintaining company reputation by enforcing compliance with all relevant laws, policies and regulations
