The Principal Data Privacy Specialist, Fulfilment, is a senior operational role within ZoomInfo's Office of the Data Protection Officer. Reporting to the Senior Team Lead, Data Privacy Fulfilment, the role supports the effective day-to-day delivery of the Fulfilment team's work, with primary responsibility for complex data subject rights requests, privacy-related queries, and related operational processes across applicable US, European, and other privacy regimes.

As a senior member of the team, the Principal Data Privacy Specialist provides subject-matter expertise, quality oversight, and practical support to colleagues. The role acts as a delegated point of leadership when the Senior Team Lead is unavailable, helping maintain continuity in prioritisation, escalation handling, workload coordination, and service delivery.

This is a privacy fulfilment and operations role. It supports execution of established privacy processes and does not own the wider privacy compliance programme or broader privacy strategy.

What You'll Do
Privacy Operations & Program Support
  • Manage and oversee the end-to-end handling of data subject rights requests, including access, deletion, correction, restriction, objection, opt-out, and related complaints, ensuring timely, accurate, and compliant responses.
  • Apply working knowledge of applicable privacy requirements, including the GDPR, CCPA/CPRA, other relevant US state privacy laws, data broker laws, and other applicable data protection requirements.
  • Oversee the operational management of the data privacy mailbox, including triage and prioritisation of queries, coordination of responses, and maintenance of clear records.
  • Demonstrated project-management experience delivering privacy fulfilment initiatives from scoping through implementation, including workflow automation, process improvement, operational policy or procedure rollout, and cross-functional change management.
Team Mentorship & Coaching
  • Support the Senior Team Lead in the day-to-day coordination of the fulfilment team, including workload prioritisation, escalation management, quality assurance, and process consistency.
  • Provide guidance, coaching, and practical support to other members of the fulfilment team, helping promote consistent, high-quality handling of requests.
Incident Response & Regulatory Compliance
  • Support the handling of data incident notifications received through privacy fulfilment channels, including initial triage, coordination with relevant teams, and support for root‑cause analysis and remediation activities.
  • Analyse privacy-related fulfilment queries, assess relevant facts and risk, prepare recommended responses, and elevate complex, sensitive, or higher‑risk matters to the Manager, Privacy Fulfilment or other appropriate stakeholders.
  • Maintain accurate request records, operational metrics, and supporting documentation to support reporting, audit readiness, and continuous improvement.
Cross Functional Partnerships
  • Identify recurring issues, process gaps, and trends in fulfilment activity, including emerging requirements under US privacy and data broker laws, and recommend practical operational improvements.
  • Work closely with Legal, Security, Product, Customer Support, and Operations teams to obtain information and coordinate fulfilment activities.
What You Bring
  • 3-5+ years experience in data privacy compliance, data protection, regulatory fulfilment, risk, or a related operational environment.
  • Demonstrated experience managing consumer or data subject rights requests under US privacy laws, including the CCPA/CPRA and other applicable state privacy and data broker requirements.
  • Strong working knowledge of European data protection law and practice, including the GDPR and associated guidance, as well as familiarity with other relevant global privacy requirements.
  • Relevant third‑level qualification and a recognised data protection or privacy certification, or progress toward one.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Professional privacy certification such as CIPP/E, CIPM, CIPT, AIGP, or equivalent is advantageous.
  • Demonstrated ability to assess and resolve privacy‑requests in a pragmatic, business‑focused way, escalating appropriately where legal, regulatory, or reputational risk is elevated.
  • Experience providing senior‑level support, informal leadership, coaching, or quality oversight within an operational team.
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with a structured and detail‑oriented approach.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build effective working relationships across the business.
  • Ability to work independently, make sound operational judgments, and contribute positively within a collaborative team environment.
  • High levels of professionalism, discretion, and integrity when handling sensitive information.
