Job summary

Turner & Townsend in Ireland seeks a Principal Consultant for Data & Digital Solutions to lead data analytics projects across energy, real estate and infrastructure sectors. You will drive client engagements, capture requirements, and design scalable data models and dashboards using Power BI and Tableau.

Role requires strong consultancy skills, ability to run workshops, and delivering end-to-end data solutions with Azure, Databricks and DAX/Python.

Qualifications

• Degree in an analytic subject or Construction (Civil Engineering)
• Experience delivering data analytics projects and client workshops
• Ability to design end-to-end data models and dashboards

Due to growing demand for our consultancy services, we areseekingto recruit a Principal Consultant with database development, database management, process & data mapping, and data analysis skillsets to join our specialist Turner & Townsend Technology consulting team. The role involves supporting a wide range of projects of all sizes and dimensions, and we are seeking an individual with a strongtrack recordof delivering data and analytics projects.

Additionally, it is essential to sell solutions to clients, explain and capture client requirements, andfacilitateworkshops.

Key Responsibilities

Leadinga projectteamconsistingofanalysts &consultants on a range of tasks,including:

• Develop project execution plans and lead end-to-end project delivery with Commission Directors
• Lead client engagements to capturedata,analysisandmodelling requirements
• Identifyand run different business and model scenarios
• Develop end-to-end data processes and data models
• Design data solutions in collaboration with clients and their IT teams
• Build dashboards and visualisations using a variety of tools
• Supporting client’s use of model outputs for decision making
• Testsolutionsand models against requirements
• Conduct assurance checks of implementedsolutions
• Preparewritten project communication materials, includingformal project progress and other reports
• Preparepresentation and other materials for client pitchesand business generation purposes

This role will require good analytic and numeracy skills with the ability to understand and present data in different representations.Abilityto programme in languages such asDAX, Python,VBAand SQL

Degree ineitheran analytic subject, e.g.Maths, Geography, Engineering, Economics etc- desirableorConstruction (Civil Engineering)

Consulting and business analysis skills (e.g.MoSCoWmethod) to understand clients’requirements

Development experience in Power Platform and Microsoft Fabric Environment

Development experience in Azure, including tools such as Databricks, SQL, Logic Apps, Key Vault, Databricks, ADF, ADLS

Experience indata warehousing anddata modelling

Proficiencyin datavisualisationsoftware such as Power BI and Tableau

Strong understanding ofbusiness intelligence and reporting architecture

Strong understanding ofdimensions, measures, metadata & schemas

Previous local security clearance and experience working within secure or regulated environments. Candidates who do not currently hold security clearance will still be considered, provided they are eligible to undergo the relevant vetting and clearance processes if required by the role.
