Your Impact

As part of this investment, we’re seeking a Principal AI Developer—a senior technical leader who will design and deliver scalable, production‑grade AI systems with full ownership of quality, performance, and real‑world impact.

This role sits at the heart of both OpenText’s global AI strategy and the expansion of our Ireland R&D capability. You will play a foundational role in building the next generation of sovereign AI for Europe, helping establish our EMEA Centre of Excellence for Agentic AI and Sovereign Cloud. Working at the forefront of multi‑agent AI orchestration in regulated environments, you’ll shape how enterprise AI is built and operated at scale.

You’ll work across the full AI stack – spanning platform, orchestration, and application layer – rather than operating within a silo, giving you direct influence on enterprise‑scale outcomes. Crucially, this is not just about applying AI – it’s about creating it. You will contribute to foundational intellectual property in agentic AI, data sovereignty, and cybersecurity, helping define the technology and engineering standards that will power OpenText’s future, rather than simply implementing existing tools.

What You Need To Succeed

• 6–8 years of experience with distributed systems and cloud platforms.
• Expertise in AI/ML frameworks, APIs, and production deployment.
• Experience with vector DBs, retrieval systems, or LLM frameworks.
• Strong debugging, performance tuning, and system design skills.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, or related technical discipline.
