Job summary

Ballygarry Estate Hotel & Spa in County Kerry is seeking a friendly Bartender to join our award-winning team. The role involves serving guests in bars and lounges, upholding 4* service standards, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.

You will mix and serve a range of beverages, upsell offerings, handle cash and card transactions, and maintain a clean, well-stocked bar. Availability for weekends and bank holidays is required.

Qualifications

• Experience not required but advantageous.
• Ability to work weekends and bank holidays.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional and engaging service to guests in bars/lounge areas.
• Maintain 4* standards of service at all times.
• Follow Health & Safety requirements for staff and guests.
• Take and serve drink orders accurately and promptly.
• Mix and serve a variety of beverages following standard recipes.
• Check IDs and refuse service if needed.
• Upsell specialty drinks and wines.
• Keep bar area clean and stocked; manage stock and inventory.
• Handle cash and card payments with accuracy.
