Job summary

Aureol Global Connections in Galway, Ireland, is seeking two skilled Precision CNC Programmers to join our manufacturing team. You will program and operate CNC mills and lathes, reading blueprints and specifications to produce high-precision components.

The ideal candidate brings proven CNC programming experience, strong G-code knowledge, and experience with CAD/CAM software, with meticulous attention to detail and teamwork to keep quality and efficiency high.

Qualifications

Experience as a CNC Programmer in a precision machining environment.
Strong knowledge of CNC programming languages (G-code) and CAD/CAM software.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
Proficiency in operating CNC machinery, including mills and lathes.
Attention to detail and commitment to high quality work.
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Familiarity with quality control processes and ISO standards is a plus.

Responsibilities

Develop, modify, and optimize CNC programs based on technical specifications and engineering drawings.
Set up and operate CNC machines, including mills and lathes, to produce precision parts.
Monitor machine operations and adjust to maintain quality and efficiency.
Conduct regular inspections of machined parts using precision measurement tools to ensure specifications.
Collaborate with engineers and production personnel to troubleshoot machining issues.
Maintain accurate documentation of production processes, tools used, and inspection results.
Adhere to all safety standards and keep a clean, organized work area.
Stay current with advancements in CNC technology and programming techniques.
