Job summary

Aureol Global Connections is seeking a skilled CMM Programmer to join its quality assurance team. You will develop and implement CMM programs to inspect mechanical components, interpret drawings, and ensure tolerance conformity.

You will collaborate with engineers and production staff, maintain metrology equipment, and stay updated on ISO standards and industry advances to ensure high-quality outcomes across manufacturing processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field preferred.
• Proven experience as a CMM Programmer or in a quality assurance role with CMM experience.
• Strong knowledge of CMM programming languages and software (e.g., PC-DMIS, Calypso).
• Excellent understanding of GD&T principles.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute CMM programs for the inspection of mechanical components.
• Interpret technical drawings and specifications to create accurate measurement plans.
• Conduct measurements and inspections using CMM and other metrology equipment to verify conformity of parts.
• Analyze measurement data and prepare reports on findings for engineering and production teams.
• Collaborate with quality assurance and engineering teams to address non-conformities and implement corrective actions.
• Maintain and calibrate CMM equipment to ensure optimal performance and accuracy.
• Train and guide team members in CMM programming and inspection techniques.
• Stay updated on industry advancements in metrology and quality control practices.
