Description

We are seeking a technically minded professional to join our Wealth Management Advisory group as a Tax & Pension Technical Consultant. This role focuses on internal research and consulting across a range of tax and pension-related topics, supporting our advisory team and enhancing client outcomes through deep technical insights.

This role does not involve the preparation of tax returns or the provision of formal tax advice to clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct internal research on Irish tax matters, including income tax, capital gains tax, exit tax, and capital acquisitions tax
  • Provide pension technical advice, including reviewing defined benefit pension projections
  • Support estate planning initiatives through technical analysis and research
  • Communicate with clients on general tax matters in collaboration with advisory teams
  • Attend industry events and stay current on developments in tax and pension legislation
  • Liaise with external professional advisors (e.g., legal, tax, actuarial) to ensure coordinated technical input
  • Deliver general technical advice to internal stakeholders across wealth planning topics
