Job summary

Ryanair, Europe’s largest airline group, is recruiting a PR & Communications Executive to join our Dublin-based team. You will drive media coverage across Europe, manage press queries, and prepare statements and materials to support our business objectives.

The role reports to the PR & Communications Manager and focuses on delivering communications strategies as Ryanair grows to 800 aircraft and 300m passengers per year by 2034.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year experience in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
• Highly organised in an agile, fast-paced, high-pressure environment, managing multiple projects.
• Exceptional writing, editing, and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to travel internationally as required.
• Interest in aviation is helpful but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Play an active role in delivering Ryanair’s communication strategy across the 36 countries in which we operate.
• Manage press queries and prepare media statements.
• Prepare press releases, presentations and other press materials, ensuring on-time and error-free delivery.
• Coordinate media and key stakeholder events.
• Pitch interviews and deliver strategic briefing documents for Senior Management.
• Collaborate with other departments to gather information to support and strengthen our communications.
• Media monitoring and coverage analysis.

Ryanair, Europe’s largest airline group, is recruiting an ambitious and hardworking PR & Communications Executive to join our best-in-class Communications Team. This position will play a fundamental role in driving Ryanair media coverage across Europe in support of our key business objectives, from launching new routes/bases to pushing for policy reforms, as well supporting our busy press office with managing media queries. To do this, you’ll need to have a ‘can-do’ attitude, be able to think on your feet and use your own initiative, juggle multiple tasks at once, and have exceptional attention-to-detail, as well as having a genuine interest in news and current affairs.

The successful candidate will be based in our Dublin HQ and will report to the PR & Communications Manager.

Requirements

• At least 1 year experience working in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, or related field (in-house or agency).
• Highly organised with experience working in an agile, fast-paced, high-pressure environment, managing multiple projects simultaneously.
• Exceptional writing, editing, and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to travel internationally as required.
• An interest in the aviation industry is not essential but will help!
