Job summary

KTL in Ireland (Naas) seeks a seasoned SHEQ Manager to lead the Power division, uphold compliance, and drive continuous improvement across health, safety, quality and environmental management.

The role reports to the Head of SHEQ and collaborates with directors, project teams and regulators to ensure legal, moral and financial obligations are met while empowering staff through robust systems and training.

Qualifications

• Secondary level health and safety management qualification (e.g., H&S Diploma).
• CMIOSH or GradIOSH towards chartered status.
• Experience with managing and maintaining a SHEQ management system.
• 5 years’ experience in health and safety in Utilities – Construction and Telecommunications.

Responsibilities

• Support Directors, the board and employees to meet moral, legal and financial obligations.
• Maintain and improve the SHEQ management system and compliance with legislation, ISO and SSIP.
• Identify training needs and ensure competency within the SHEQ team.
• Manage audit schedules and collect data for trend analysis and continuous improvement.
• Report to Directors with monthly/quarterly information and metrics.
• Identify root causes of incidents and implement corrective actions.
• Liaise with regulators (HSE, HSA, SEPA, EA) as required.
• Assess suppliers and contractors for suitability and safety compliances.
• Promote health, safety and environmental incentives and reduce environmental impact.
