Job summary

Turner & Townsend in Dublin, Ireland, is seeking a Project Manager - Power (Construction) to lead planning, delivery and integration of critical power infrastructure across the campus. You will manage complex LV/MV/HV networks, substations, and energy systems in a live environment, ensuring safety and regulatory compliance.

The role demands a degree in engineering and 10+ years in heavy civils/energy PM, with strong leadership and stakeholder engagement.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering (Civil, Electrical, or related discipline).
• Minimum 10 years’ experience in project management within heavy civils and energy infrastructure.
• Strong experience with substation projects and HV/MV electrical systems.
• Proven delivery of renewable energy systems (PV, geothermal, etc.).
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Familiarity with Irish construction and energy regulations is an advantage.
• PMP, PRINCE2, or similar certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery of LV/MV/HV power projects.
• Oversee substations, switchgear, and transformer installations.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary design and regulatory compliance.
• Manage contracts and NEC4 framework with risk and cost controls.
• Engage stakeholders including operations and ESB Networks.
• Ensure safety RAMS and permit-to-work processes.
