Job summary

Manor Farm, part of Scandi Standard, is seeking a Hanger in the Kill / Evis Department on a day shift in Cootehill, Cavan. The role focuses on operating and setting up production line equipment while maintaining high standards of safety and quality. Full training provided, with a 6-month temporary contract.

The position offers an opportunity to develop skills in a leading poultry production environment and to contribute to continuous improvement within the manufacturing process.

Qualifications

• Experience in food manufacturing or production is desirable but not essential.
• Good standard of English is essential.
• Positive, reliable team player with strong communication skills.
• Good numeracy, organisational and problem-solving abilities.
• Willingness to learn and take initiative.
• Able to work a day shift with early starts.

Responsibilities

• Operate and set up production line equipment.
• Follow daily production plans and meet output and quality targets.
• Monitor the production process and report issues or delays.
• Maintain high standards of food safety, hygiene and workplace cleanliness.
• Adhere to all health & safety, quality and company procedures.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives across the production line.
