Your future role
Take on a new challenge and apply your planning and coordination expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You will work alongside resolute and meticulous teammates.
You will play a critical role in ensuring safe and efficient access planning for railway infrastructure projects, directly impacting the successful delivery of key initiatives. Day-to-day, you will collaborate closely with teams across the business (Project Directors, Safe Work Managers, and third-party contractors), liaise with clients in Cork to develop and deliver access plans, and ensure compliance.
We will look to you for:
- Developing, planning, and booking access requirements in alignment with project needs and timelines.
- Collaborating with the Project Director and Safe Work Manager to align access plans with project objectives.
- Delivering access plans that meet the operational and safety requirements of all functions within the business.
- Acting as the primary point of contact for access planning across all railway infrastructure projects.
- Coordinating with external clients and suppliers to ensure seamless implementation of access plans.
- Monitoring and adapting access plans to address any changes or challenges during project execution.
- Upholding safety-critical responsibilities to ensure the successful delivery of projects.

- Proven experience as a Possession or Access Planner within a rail environment.
- PPS (Possession Planning System) planning access experience.
- SSOW (Safe System of Work Planner) planning qualification at Core Level 2.
- Valid PTS (Personal Track Safety).
- Experience or understanding of railway infrastructure projects and possession planning.
- Familiarity with liaising across multiple stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and internal business functions.
- Organisational and time-management skills to develop and deliver access plans efficiently.
- Ability to work under pressure while maintaining safety and compliance standards.
- Resilience and adaptability to manage dynamic project requirements.
