Job summary

Howden Ireland is seeking a Portfolio Solutions Manager based in Dublin to support and execute Howden Ireland’s placement strategy, engaging with insurers and stakeholders to deliver market-leading portfolio solutions.

You will collaborate with senior leadership to drive placement planning, manage delivery across the lifecycle, and ensure all activities comply with company governance and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• 8+ years’ experience preferably in portfolio management, placement, or schemes.
• Experience in market engagement, presentation, and high impact document delivery.
• Experience in analysing datasets to assess profitability, scalability, viability and opportunity.
• Portfolio delivery across the full lifecycle and awareness of regulatory environment.

Responsibilities

• Shape and define portfolio and scheme strategy with stakeholders.
• Deliver assigned projects and contribute to others as needed.
• Support business strategy with expertise and advice.
• Grow insurer relationships and new business through placement strategies.
• Provide management information to senior leadership as required.
• Maintain comprehensive portfolio documentation (PIDs, KPIs, business cases).
• Ensure compliance with Howden Ireland policies and regulatory obligations.
