Job summary

Circet Ireland & UK is recruiting Poling Operatives to join our Power division. You will be part of the project team, following procedures, focusing on quality and efficiency while controlling costs.

Key duties include installation and removal of poles, replacing overhead joints on ESB network, and ensuring work complies with SLAs and safety standards. The role requires Pole Erection Unit and HIAB experience, street-works at operative level with Cat Genny training, and a full Irish driving

Qualifications

• Pole Erection Unit and HIAB experience.
• Street-works qualifications at operative level including Cat Genny training.
• Full Irish driving licence (HGV Class 2).

Responsibilities

• Installation and removal of poles, including dressing new poles.
• Replacing/renewing overhead and UG joints on ESB network.
• Ensuring all works are completed in accordance with Service Level Agreements.
• Undertaking works in accordance with Health and Safety legislation, company and client Health and Safety standards.

The Poling Operative will be a key member of the Project team, adhering to procedures, focused on producing the best quality service, being highly productive and mindful of costs.

Main Duties

• Installation and removal of poles, including dressing new poles
• Replacing/renewing overhead and UG joints on ESB network

Experience and Skills Required

• Pole Erection Unit and HIAB experience

Requirements

• Self-motivated, achievement orientated and be able to stay calm in pressure situations
• Committed, Hardworking and possess the ability to work as part of a team to achieve synergistic results.
• Computer literate and the ability to use a tablet device
• Street-works qualifications at operative level including Cat Genny training
• Have a full Irish license (each crew will require a HGV Class 2 license)
