My Client are currently seeking a highly motivated person to fill the role as Plumbing Operations Manager for our office based in Cork City. This is an excellent opportunity for a highly motivated individual with great scope for career advancement within the company. You will work alongside our clients and help Project managers to complete multiple domestic retrofitting projects. This is a fully office-based role at our offices at Dublin Hill, Cork.

The Plumbing Manager will lead a plumbing division, They will coordinate daily schedules and dispatches, manages the teams performance, and ensure all installations and repairs comply with building codes and safety regulations. This role bridges field execution with business profitability.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operations & Dispatch: Coordinate daily job schedules, route plumbers, and assign service calls to optimize efficiency and minimize missed appointments.
• Team Leadership: Train, mentor, and supervise plumbers and apprentices; conduct performance reviews and address scheduling or technical conflicts.
• Compliance & Quality Control: Ensure all work adheres to plumbing COP, safety protocols, and company quality benchmarks.
• Inventory & Procurement: Monitor truck stock, order materials, track equipment, and coordinate with suppliers.
• Financial & KPI Tracking: Manage job budgets, review and approve vendor/client invoices, and track metrics like job duration, billable hours, and gross profit margins.
• Customer Relations: Handle escalated customer service issues, explain technical solutions clearly, and maintain high client satisfaction.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• Experience: 5+ years of hands‑on plumbing experience with at least 2 years in a supervisory or management role.
• Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of residential heat pumps, complete with a high knowledge of Domestic Plumbing. .
• Software Skills: Proficiency with field service management, dispatching software, CRM tools, and mobile apps .
• Soft Skills: Strong problem‑solving abilities, calm under pressure, and clear communication skills.
• Preferred Certifications:
• Project Management or Leadership training.
• QQI Level Advanced Certificate Craft- Plumbing.
