Chadwick's Group in Quin Rd Business Park, Ennis, Co. Clare, is looking for a Plumbing and Heating Trade Sales Advisor. The role focuses on delivering knowledgeable, friendly service while driving branch sales and gross profit.

You will promote products, support customers, and work as part of a team to maintain high standards of shop presentation and customer care.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a busy builder provider preferable.
• Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales and margin targets.
• Good knowledge of Plumbing and Heating products.
• Previous sales experience an advantage.
• IT Literacy.

Responsibilities

• Build effective working relationships with customers to understand requirements and supply the correct products.
• Identify sales opportunities and offer advice to maximise profitable sales and margin.
• Achieve sales and margin targets.
• Maintain a clean, merchandised counter area per policy.
• Process paperwork accurately and in line with policy.
• Manage stock levels and re-orders for the Plumbing and Heating department.
• Liaise with suppliers as needed.
• Support Branch Manager and team to ensure efficient operation.
• Maintain a tidy working environment following health and safety guidelines.
• Assist in other duties as required.

Principle Objective

The role of Plumbing and Heating Trade Sales Advisor is to provide our customers with a knowledgeable, friendly and dependable service whilst at the same time optimising branch sales and gross profit, promote the company's products and services in a professional manner and deliver a superior standard of customer care to our existing customers.

Knowledge & Experience

• Previous experience working in a busy builder provider preferable
• A proven track record of achieving and exceeding both sales and margin targets
• Good knowledge of Plumbing and Heating products
• Previous sales experience an advantage

Key Responsibilities

• Build effective working relationships with customers, to understand their requirements thus ensuring that the correct products are supplied
• Use initiative to identify sales opportunities and offer advice and solutions to customers, thus maximising profitable sales and margin
• Achieve Sales & margin targets
• Maintain a clean and effectively merchandised counter area in line with company policy
• Ensure that company policies are always followed when producing paperwork associated with sales
• Responsible for the re-order of selected product lines and also ensuring that stock levels of selected product lines within the Plumbing and Heating department are maintained at appropriate levels
• Liaise with suppliers where necessary
• Support the Branch Manager and colleagues in working as a team to ensure the branch operates efficiently and effectively within company policy
• Always ensure a tidy working environment in line with health and safety guidelines
• Actively safeguard against theft of company goods or property by always being security conscious
• Perform any other duties as may be deemed necessary or as may be required by the company
