Allbrite Heatpump Specialists, part of the Activ8 Solar Energies group, is seeking a qualified Plumber to oversee installation and commissioning of heat pump systems based in Carrickmacross, Co. Monaghan. The role includes servicing, repair, and maintenance with travel as needed and a company vehicle provided.

You will work as part of a growing renewables team, ensuring safe, compliant installations that meet manufacturer guidelines, with opportunities to progress as the business expands.

Qualifications

• Qualified plumber with 3+ years residential experience in Ireland.
• Knowledge of plumbing codes and heating system layouts.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Valid driver's license; willingness to travel nationally.

Responsibilities

• Install and commission heat pump systems with precision and attention to detail.
• Oversee and prepare pipework and plumbing systems for heat pump installations.
• Service, repair and maintain heat pump systems per manufacturer guidelines.
• Diagnose faults and provide effective solutions for reliability.
• Provide technical assistance to customers and work with team to meet deadlines.

About Allbrite Heatpump Specialists Allbrite Heatpump Specialists is part of the wider Activ8 Solar Energies and SSE Airtricity group, supporting the delivery of high-quality renewable energy and home-retrofit solutions across Ireland. We are growing our team and looking for qualified electricians who want secure, varied work with the opportunity to move into heat pumps, renewable energy and whole-home retrofit. Allbrite Heatpump Specialists Ltd are actively seeking qualified Plumbers to oversee the installation and commissioning of heat pump systems.

This position will be based out of Carrickmacross, Co. Monaghan. This is a full time permanent position inclusive of a competitive salary, company vehicle and additional benefits. This is a permanent, field-based role supported by our Carrickmacross operation. You will receive a company vehicle and fuel card, with travel arrangements, typical working area and overtime details confirmed during the recruitment process.

The Opportunity: As an Plumber you will be responsible for the installation and commissioning of heat pump systems. You will undertake the installation, servicing, repair and maintenance of heat pump systems. You will play a crucial role in our operations, contributing to the growth and success of Allbrite.

Responsibilities Include:

• Install and commission heat pump systems with precision and attention to detail.
• Oversee & prepare the pipework and plumbing systems for heat pump installations.
• Undertake servicing, repair, and maintenance activities in accordance with manufacturer guidelines, ensuring optimal system performance.
• Assess and diagnose faults, providing effective solutions to ensure the reliability of heat pump systems.
• Provide technical assistance to customers regarding their heat pump systems.
• Work with the team to ensure projects are completed on time.
• Keep accurate records of all work performed and materials used.
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and standards.

Requirements:

• Qualified Plumber ideally with 3+ years residential experience in the Irish market.
• Live within a commutable distance of Carrickmacross.
• Knowledge of plumbing codes and standards.
• Good working knowledge of heating system layouts, controls, and best practices.
• Excellent problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Strong communication skills.
• Attention to detail.
• Valid driver's license.
• National Travel may be required ocassionally.
