Job summary

Sodexo in Kinsale, Cork, is seeking a full-time Plumber to perform routine plumbing inspections, respond to issues, install, maintain and repair sanitary units, and work in a self-managed team. The role is 39 hours per week, Mon-Fri, 7:30am-4:00pm (Fridays 3pm). Salary is €29.59 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine inspections of plumbing and drainage systems.
• Log inspections and corrective actions in the CMMS (Maximo).
• Respond to plumbing emergencies and diagnose issues.
• Install, maintain, and repair sanitary units and fixtures.
• Collaborate with multi-skilled technicians to deliver high-quality service.

What you'll do:

• Perform routine inspections of plumbing and drainage systems
• Records of inspections & corrective actions to be logged on the sites CMMS system (Maximo)
• Respond to plumbing emergencies and diagnose and resolve plumbing issues
• Install, maintain, and repair sanitary units and associated fixtures.
• To work within a self-managed team of multi-skilled technicians and contractors. Must be seen to add value to core service delivery and should attain to deliver very high standards in terms of work output and quality of work.

What you'll bring:

• Previous experience in a similar client facing role and excellent interpersonal and communication skills are the key

• SOLAS Level 6 Plumbing or equivalent

• Full, clean driving license

• A positive, energetic and proactive attitude

• Strong organisational abilities and attention to detail
