Job summary

The Learning Tree Early Education Limited in Naas, Co Kildare, is seeking a Playgroup Leader to deliver engaging play opportunities in a safe, stimulating environment. You will support pre-school children in structured and informal settings, promoting independence, confidence and social interaction.

Key duties include supervising activities, liaising with parents, and ensuring health and safety regulations are followed. 1–2 years' experience preferred; 40 hours/week; start date 04/01/2027.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years’ experience in early childhood education or recreation roles.
• Leadership and organisational skills in managing groups of children.
• Excellent communication and a positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Supervise children’s games and encourage development of physical, social and language skills.
• Provide play areas and prepare materials for a wide range of activities.
• Organise and supervise excursions and ensure health and safety regulations are followed.
• Liaise with parents, carers and colleagues and maintain appropriate records.
