Responsibilities

• To supervise children at all times- indoor and outdoor and not leave children unattended in any circumstances.
• To be attentive to the individual needs of all children in your care.
• To deal with issues as they arise in relation to the wellbeing of children.
• To ensure all quality and safety standards are met within the service.
• To liaise with parents who are the primary carers and educators of children and to keep them informed of children’s well - being and progress.

Requirements

• Hold a minimum Level 5 or higher qualifications in Early Childhood Education and Care.
• Minimum Two years of experience working with children of all age groups in early years setting preferably in Ireland.
• Kindness, warmth and responsiveness to the needs of children.
• Good communication and relating skills with children, staff and parents.
