Job summary

StoryToys in Dublin is seeking a talented mid-level 2D Artist specializing in UI to join our mobile games team. You will craft intuitive interfaces and production-ready assets that resonate with preschool audiences, while aligning with licensed brand guidelines.

You will collaborate with Design, Engineering and the wider Art department to deliver polished UI artwork, reusable components, and scalable layouts for mobile devices. A strong portfolio and experience in Unity are essential.

Qualifications

• Portfolio shows polished UI artwork with clear hierarchy.
• Experience as a 2D or UI artist in games or interactive media.
• Strong sense for typography, color, and layout for kids.
• Proficiency in Photoshop and Illustrator; familiarity with Figma.

Responsibilities

• UI art production of screens, buttons, icons, and menus.
• Create child-friendly interfaces with clear readability.
• Ensure brand consistency across licensed properties.
• Build reusable UI components and style guides.
• Prepare assets for Unity with proper slicing and naming.
• Support wider 2D art needs and asset production.
• Iterate based on feedback and QA testing.
