Job summary

Boyle Sports is seeking a Platform Engineering Lead in Ireland, with occasional trips to Dundalk HQ. You will lead a squad focused on building and maintaining Infrastructure as Code patterns that enable self-service cloud consumption for application teams.

You will drive DevOps culture, enforce engineering best practices, and work across Platform Design and Cloud Management Office to deliver secure, automated platform components for the cloud transformation journey.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in cloud platform engineering, infrastructure automation, or DevOps roles.
• Proven experience leading engineering squads or DevOps teams in agile environments.
• Strong hands-on expertise with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools (Terraform, Bicep, CloudFormation, Ansible, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a squad of cloud and DevOps engineers delivering reusable IaC modules, CI/CD pipelines, and automation frameworks.
• Manage the team backlog, define sprint goals, and ensure predictable delivery of platform engineering outcomes.
• Partner with architecture and security teams to translate blueprints into standardized IaC blueprints and ensure governance.
