Job summary

Thomas Mullee in Ireland is seeking an experienced plasterer to join our construction team. You will prepare walls, ceilings and surfaces, mix and apply plaster, render, bonding and skim coats, and ensure quality while complying with health and safety requirements on site.

The ideal candidate has at least 2 years of plastering experience or a recognised trade qualification, can read basic drawings, use hand and power tools safely, and work independently with minimal supervision.

Job Description

Main duties: Prepare walls, ceilings and other surfaces. Mix and apply plaster, render, bonding and skim coats. Repair and finish damaged surfaces. Measure and work from drawings and site instructions. Maintain tools and a clean work area. Inspect completed work to ensure quality standards, and comply with health‑and‑safety requirements while working with site management and other trades.

Requirements: The successful candidate must have at least 2 years’ relevant plastering experience or an equivalent recognised trade qualification. The candidate must be able to carry out skilled plastering work independently, read basic drawings and instructions, use relevant hand and power tools safely, and comply with Irish construction‑site health‑and‑safety requirements.
