Job summary

Morgan McKinley in Ireland is seeking an experienced Maintenance Manager to lead the Engineering and Maintenance function at a major food manufacturing site. You will own day-to-day maintenance performance and drive long-term reliability improvements.

Reporting to the site leadership team, you will manage the maintenance budget, coordinate external contractors and CAPEX projects, and ensure adherence to health & safety, food safety, quality and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• 5+ years leading maintenance or engineering teams in manufacturing.
• Engineering qualification or strong time-served mechanical/electrical background.
• Proven track record in CAPEX projects and cost control.
• Experience improving plant reliability and preventive maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the site Engineering and Maintenance team.
• Own the planned preventive maintenance strategy and schedules.
• Drive improvements in equipment reliability and plant availability.
• Manage engineering budgets, costs and external contractors.
• Oversee maintenance stores, spare parts and systems.
• Lead CAPEX and engineering improvement projects.
• Ensure compliance with Health & Safety and food safety requirements.
