Job summary

IPS is seeking EHS Engineers to join our team in Dublin, Ireland, to support safety, compliance, and project oversight across client sites in the life sciences sector. The role involves auditing and inspecting project compliance, developing and implementing safety plans, and providing on-site EHS support.

Candidates should have 5–10 years of construction safety experience and a Bachelor's degree in safety, engineering, or a related field.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in safety, engineering, or a related field.
• 5-10 years of Construction Safety experience.
• Knowledge and experience with construction safety topics (RAMS, Permitting, SPAs, Fall Protection, Trenching and Shoring, Crane Lifts, Steel Erection, Hot Work, Confined Space, Emergency Plans).

Responsibilities

• Assists construction project teams by supporting subcontractor qualifications, safety plan development, safety plan implementation, project compliance inspections, and project EHS regulatory guidance.
• Researches regulations and assists with construction site EHS compliance.
• Performs EHS compliance audits and inspections at IPS project sites.
• Records and reports audit reports and assists with corrective actions.
• Collates weekly safety statistics and manages the reporting system.
• Provides on-site EHS support for projects requiring continuous oversight.
• Reviews and evaluates daily Safe Plan of Action developed by subcontractors.
• Plans and attends meetings and supports EHS department administrative functions.

We are looking for talented EHS Engineers to join our dedicated team at our office in Dublin, Ireland.

We're currently in the process of pipelining talent for upcoming and current projects across mainland Europe. Therefore, if you are interested in positions in the UK, Ireland, Germany, Switzerland, Norway, Spain, Italy, and Denmark, in this role, you will assist with maintaining compliance with EHS policies and regulations for engineering services, construction projects, and validation/compliance services. You will be based on client sites to audit and inspect project compliance, as well as assist in administrative compliance activities when needed.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in pharmaceutical Design/Build/Validate processes.
